The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is a full-time/part-time, doctoral programme offering studies in different fields of management and functional areas. The programme intends to prepare potential scholars to become extremely skilled and advanced researchers and educators in various aspects of management. Keeping in view the long tradition of academic excellence, the following institutional goals have been laid for doctoral research.
Specializations are offered in the below mentioned areas. Once selected, a student is permitted to change the area of research only with the permission of FPM Committee. The FPM Committee may require the student to complete additional courses suitable for the changed research area as the condition for such a change. The areas of specialization offered are:

Postgraduate Degree or equivalent in Engineering and Technology/ Management/ Economics/ Social Science/ Biological Science/ Pure Science/ Commerce/ Humanities with minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.0 on a 10-point scale, or 60% marks shall be considered for admission to Fellow Programme. Relaxation of 5% for SC / ST / OBC-NC / Differently Abled Person. Professional qualifications of C.A., ICWA, and C.S. with 50% aggregate marks are also considered.
The annual fee for the FPM programme for the current academic year is Rs 1,00,000. In addition, students are required to pay the following one-time charges at the time of admission: Admission Charges Rs 2,000, Educational Resources Access Fee Rs 25,000 and Caution Deposit (Refundable) Rs 10,000. Students may choose to pay the annual programme fee either in a single payment or in two instalments each year.
Candidates with relevant academic or professional experience may apply for Tutorship / Assistantship. Students selected for these roles will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000.
Full-time scholars are eligible for financial support of ₹20,000 per month after successful completion of coursework. The SCMS fellowship is available for a maximum period of two years or until submission of the thesis, whichever is earlier, subject to meeting the prescribed requirements.
The Fellow Programme in Management offers a total intake of 20 seats per academic year. Candidates may access and complete the online application form by clicking the “Apply Now” button located at the top-right corner of the portal. Attested copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials must be uploaded along with the application. Candidates who have completed or are currently pursuing their qualifying degree may upload all available marksheets up to the pre-final year/semester. In addition, all candidates are required to submit an abstract of approximately 5,000 words outlining their area of research interest (tentative research proposal) along with the application.
