Campus Disciplinary Committee

The Disciplinary Committee is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and academically focused environment on campus. The following responsibilities guide the committee’s efforts:

• Ensure Discipline on Campus: Maintain and enforce strict discipline across the college campus at all times.
• ID Card Protocol: All students must wear their ID cards while on campus and in classrooms. Any violations, including dress code breaches or classroom disturbances, may result in temporary confiscation of the ID card.
• Violation Handling: In cases of serious misbehavior or breach of college rules, the student’s ID card will be held by the Disciplinary Committee until the enquiry process is completed.
• Monitor Student Movement: Prevent students from loitering in corridors or other non-designated areas during college hours.
• Ban on Tobacco and Smoking: Smoking and the use of tobacco products are strictly prohibited on campus. The committee ensures strict adherence to this rule.
• Cell Phone Usage: Enforce a complete ban on mobile phone usage by students inside classrooms.
• Library Conduct: Ensure that students maintain silence and decorum in the library at all times.
• Canteen and Common Areas: Maintain discipline in the canteen and student waiting areas during college hours.
• College Property: In cases where students damage college property, the cost of repair/replacement along with a fine will be charged to the responsible individual(s), followed by appropriate disciplinary action.
• Progressive Disciplinary Measures: Initially issue warnings for minor disciplinary issues. If the misconduct continues, actions will be taken in accordance with the committee’s guidelines and institutional regulations.
