The “What Women Want” campaign was a significant initiative organized by SCMS Cochin School of Business in collaboration with SWARA and the Media Relations Club. Held from March 4th to 8th, 2024, in honor of International Women’s Day, the campaign aimed to promote gender equality and amplify the voices of women globally.

The campaign was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of Dr. Poornima Narayan and Dr. Devika S, with active participation from students of PGDM Batch 32, including Grace, Riya Martin, and Krishnendu Rajeev. The planning phase involved brainstorming sessions, coordination with SWARA and the Media Relations Club, and organizing the logistics for various events. The campaign included a range of activities aimed at different target audiences, from lower primary school students to college students.

The “What Women Want” campaign had a significant impact on the SCMS Cochin School of Business community and beyond. It successfully raised awareness about gender equality and women’s rights, providing a platform for meaningful discussions and creative expressions. The session on good touch and bad touch educated young students, contributing to a safer environment for them. The artistic competitions showcased the talents of participants and reinforced the campaign’s message of empowerment and inclusivity. Overall, the campaign fostered a spirit of solidarity and commitment to gender equality among all participants.
