In response to the challenges faced by communities in Wayanad, the PGDM faculty and students of Batch 33 at SCMS Cochin School of Business organized a relief material collection drive in collaboration with local organizations such as Mathrubhumi Daily and Karayogam. The initiative aimed to provide essential support to affected communities by collecting food, clothing, medical supplies, and raising Rs. 10,200 to purchase additional items. Through meticulous planning, the students successfully coordinated the logistics of collection, sorting, and transportation of relief materials to Wayanad. Despite challenges like logistical coordination and resource allocation, the drive made a significant impact by delivering crucial support to the region. This effort not only demonstrated the students’ commitment to social responsibility but also fostered a sense of unity and collaboration within the community, strengthening ties for future humanitarian initiatives.
