The PGDM Department of SCMS Cochin School of Business, in association with IQAC, organized a training session on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act on 20th August 2025. The session was led by Adv. Liz Johny Arackal, who shared valuable insights on the provisions of the Act, complaint mechanisms, and the responsibilities of organizations in ensuring safe workplaces.

Drawing from real-life case studies and practical examples, Adv. Liz helped participants understand the seriousness of workplace harassment and the need for inclusivity by extending protection to men, transgender persons, and other marginalized groups. The interactive session allowed students and faculty to clarify doubts and engage in open dialogue.

The program successfully sensitized participants to their rights and duties in preventing harassment and highlighted the importance of building respectful, inclusive, and secure workplaces for all.
