Student Exchange Program: Bridging Cultures and Empowering Communities through Rural Engagement
The Student Exchange Program between ITM Mumbai and SCMS Cochin School of Business took place from June 18th to 23rd, 2023, aiming to foster cultural exchange and enrich the educational experience of PGDM students. A key highlight of the program was the visit to Mohapada village, where students engaged in community outreach activities and interacted with local institutions. This visit focused on understanding the socio-economic challenges faced by rural communities and provided participants with valuable insights into urban-rural disparities. In addition to this, students attended educational sessions at ITM Mumbai, visited financial institutions like the National Stock Exchange and the Reserve Bank of India Museum, and participated in cultural and academic activities that broadened their perspectives on global issues and social responsibility.
