In a significant stride towards fostering academic excellence and promoting sustainable banking practices, the SCMS Group of Educational Institutions and ESAF Small Finance Bank have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 13, 2024. This collaboration heralds a new era of academic cooperation aimed at equipping students with the requisite knowledge and skills for navigating the realm of sustainable finance.

The MoU signing ceremony, held at the prestigious SCMS Main Campus, was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Prof. Pramod P Thevannoor, Vice Chairman of SCMS Group, and Dr. Jose A.V, Vice President and Head L&D of ESAF Small Finance Bank. The event marked a momentous occasion as both institutions reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing sustainable banking practices.

Under this collaborative initiative, a Joint Certificate Course on Sustainable Banking will be offered to students pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) during the academic year 2024-25. The curriculum is meticulously crafted to encompass a wide array of topics ranging from environmental conservation and social responsibility to ethical banking practices and financial inclusion.
