SCMS Cochin School of Business hosted the inauguration of the NIPM Student Chapter (PGDM) in collaboration with the National Institute of Personnel Management – Kerala Chapter on 26th August 2025. The event, held at the SCMS Seminar Hall, also marked the launch of the HR Forum for MBA and PGDM students, creating a common platform for knowledge-sharing, skill-building, and professional networking.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Anilkumar G (Chairman, NIPM Kerala Chapter), Mr. Sajiv Mathew (Hon. Secretary, NIPM Kerala Chapter), Mr. Sunny Thomas (Director–Corporate Relations, SCMS Group of Institutions), Ms. Sarika CK (Hon. Addl. Secretary, NIPM Kerala Chapter), and Ms. Prasita Prasad (Executive Committee Member, NIPM Kerala Chapter). They shared valuable insights on the evolving role of HR professionals in today’s business environment.

The program also featured the certificate distribution for NIPM Student Chapter members and the announcement of the HR Forum’s activities, including workshops, case studies, and industry interactions. The dual inauguration reaffirmed SCMS’s commitment to nurturing future-ready HR leaders and bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry practice.
