The Financial Management (Batch 34 – Term III) course integrates a faculty-designed Corporate Financial Lab to deliver a rich, experiential learning experience. This simulation places students in the role of financial decision-makers, enabling them to navigate the complete corporate life cycle while applying core financial management concepts in a connected and practical context.
The simulation unfolds through a series of structured phases—Foundation, Planning, Investment, Financing, Cost of Capital, Leverage, Dividend, Working Capital, and Final Integration. Each phase focuses on a key financial domain and requires students to generate specific outputs, including a Company Blueprint, Financial Plan, Project Evaluation, Funding Strategy, Capital Cost Report, Risk Analysis, Policy Note, Working Capital Plan, and a final integrated financial portfolio with presentation.
Rather than learning concepts in isolation, students progressively build on their decisions, understanding the interdependencies between investment, financing, risk, and returns. This approach encourages critical thinking, analytical rigor, and strategic decision-making under realistic business conditions.
By bridging theoretical knowledge with hands-on application, the Corporate Financial Lab enhances student engagement and equips learners with the practical financial acumen required for real-world corporate environments.
