The highlight of the event was a lively prize distribution ceremony, culminating in the crowning of the Grandpa King and Granny Queen. This moment celebrated the vibrant spirit and wisdom of our elder community, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.
As the event drew to a close, Miss. Alby P Benny, Coordinator of the Active Ageing Centre at Nalukettu, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors for making the day a memorable success.
The celebration not only provided entertainment but also fostered connections between generations, reinforcing the importance of respecting and valuing our elders in society. We look forward to more such initiatives that promote active aging and community engagement.
