SCMS Cochin School of Business, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully conducted a Two-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Mastering Data Analysis” on 10th and 11th February 2025 at the Muttom campus. The program was designed to enhance the research capabilities of faculty members and researchers by providing hands-on training in advanced data analysis techniques essential for academic and industry-oriented research.
The sessions covered key aspects of data analysis, including developing research frameworks, secondary data analysis using EViews, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SPSS AMOS, and mediation and moderation analysis using SPSS Process Macro. The FDP provided participants with practical exposure to these analytical tools, enabling them to apply the concepts effectively in their research endeavors.
The program was led by distinguished resource persons, including Dr. Lishin M.J., Professor & Head, Department of HR-PGDM, SCMS Cochin School of Business; Dr. Natasha P., Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management Studies, University of Calicut; and Dr. Sreelakshmi C.C., Assistant Professor, SCMS Cochin School of Business. Their expertise and insightful sessions contributed significantly to the success of the program, making it a highly enriching experience for all attendees.
